Dalkom-MOPT Connectivity Project, Subcontractor: FONS
Project Description
As part of Somalia’s national digital infrastructure expansion, the Ministry of Telecommunications and Post (MoPT), with funding support from the World Bank, initiated the development of a federal fiber optic network ring interconnecting 15 key federal ministries across Mogadishu. The implementation of this high-impact project was awarded to Dalkom Somalia, who subsequently appointed FONS Technology and Consultants as a specialized subcontractor to carry out critical components of the network build, including feasibility studies, technical consulting, infrastructure deployment, and capacity-building training.
